3. Delivery & Activation
Switch on to your plan: It's simple! Be there in person to meet your rider with required documents, collect your SIM card or receive an email address with your QR code*!

Purchasing a new line on Onic is very simple! All you need to do is:
1.
Either visit our website or install Onic Mobile Application on your phone.
2.
Choose a desired base plan that you want to purchase and click next.
3.
Click on “Create a new Account” and enter your personal email address.
4.
An OTP will be sent to your personal email address for verification.
5.
Once the OTP verification is done, you are all set to buy a new SIM.
6.
Provide your profile and delivery details and proceed to make payment via Credit Card, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or Bank Account.
7.
Press “Submit” button to complete the new SIM request.
8.
Now your order will be processed and you will be reached out for Identity verification.
9.
Once the request is approved and the SIM is delivered, after BVS and ICCID scanning, your SIM will be activated within 2 hours.
It is mandatory to be physically present for SIM delivery. As the SIM hand over will only be completed after biometric verification.
Upon receiving your SIM card, kindly initiate the Onic application and proceed to the “Activate Your SIM” section. From there, please utilize the application”s scanning feature to scan the ICC ID of your SIM card. You can also enter the ICCID manually to activate your SIM card.
A physical SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) is a small card, usually made of plastic, that you insert into your mobile device. It securely stores data such as your phone number, carrier information, contacts, and other details necessary for your device to connect to a mobile network and make calls, send texts, and access data services.
On the other hand, an eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card embedded within a device”s hardware, eliminating the need for a physical SIM card. Instead of a physical card, the eSIM”s information is programmatically integrated into the device”s chipset. Users can activate a cellular plan by downloading the SIM profile provided by their carrier or service provider.
Before buying onic E-sim please ensure that your handset is compatible for eSIM usage.
Here“s a step-by-step process to order a physical SIM/eSIM for porting your previous SIM to Onic:
•Install Onic Application:
Download and install the Onic mobile application. Sign up using your email ID to create an account.
•Select Package Plan:
Choose the desired package plan that suits your needs within the Onic app.
•Transfer Number:
Navigate within the app and select the option labeled “Transfer Number.”
•Provide Details and Delivery Address:
Fill in your personal details and accurate delivery address. Select a suitable delivery slot for receiving the SIM/eSIM.
•Review & Place Order:
Review the order details to ensure accuracy. Proceed to make an online payment by hitting the “Place Order” button.
•Order Processing & Delivery:
After placing the order, it will be processed. A designated rider will reach out to you for biometric verification and SIM delivery. For Mobile Number Portability (MNP):
Step 1:
Send an SMS to 667 (PMD) with the message “MNP.” You“ll receive a reply containing the MSISDN, Name, Valid CNIC, IMSI Activation date, and Customer Type.
Step 2:
Forward this received message from your phone as it is to 76333.
Step 3:
The port-in process will take approximately 4 working days. You”ll receive a notification within the Onic app upon successful completion of the port-in process.
Customers will not be able to PORT-IN their numbers in the following cases:
•
If their number is from AJK series
•
Change of ownership is less than 60 days.
•
If you“ve recently activated or ported-in your number and it“s been less than sixty days with your current service provider.
Note: If you”re porting your SIM from Ufone to Onic, you can skip the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) steps. The rest of the process remains the same. Ensure to follow each step accurately, and if you encounter any issues or need assistance during the process, you can reach out to Onic”s customer support for further guidance.
1. Log In to Onic Application:
•Open the Onic application and log in using your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Dashboard:
•Once logged in, you“ll be directed to the Dashboard. If not, find and click on the Dashboard tab or link.
3. Scroll to the Bottom of the Dashboard:
•Scroll down to reach the bottom of the Dashboard.
4. Access “Usage Logs”:
•Look for the “Usage Logs” section, usually located towards the bottom of the Dashboard.
5. Choose Log Type:
•Within the “Usage Logs” section, identify and click on the type of logs you need, such as Data, Voice, or SMS.
6. Select Time Period:
•Specify the period for which you want to retrieve usage logs. This may involve selecting a start and end date or choosing from predefined options.
7. Click on “Get Logs”:
•Locate the “Get Logs” button and click on it to initiate the process.
8. Check Your Email:
•After clicking “Get Logs,” the system will generate the logs, and you will receive them in your email. Check your email inbox for the usage logs

To activate a package on the Onic application, follow these steps:
•
Open the Onic application on your device
•
On the dashboard, scroll down until you locate the “Packages available” option. Tap on this option to proceed.
•
A list of available packages will be displayed. Choose your desired package from the list.
•
To finalize the activation, proceed to make an online payment for the selected package.
•
Upon successful payment, your chosen package will be activated and ready for use.”

•Change SIM Slot:
Advise the customer to switch the SIM card to a different slot in their device, if available. Sometimes, using a different slot can resolve connectivity issues due to slot-specific problems.
•Restart Phone:
Instruct the customer to perform a complete restart of their phone. This can help clear temporary glitches or errors that may be affecting connectivity.
•Toggle Airplane Mode:
Suggest the customer to turn on Airplane Mode for a few seconds and then turn it off. This action can sometimes reset the network connections and resolve minor issues.
•Change Handset:
If possible, recommend trying the SIM card in a different handset. This helps determine if the issue is specific to the device or the SIM card itself.
•Change Location:
Advise the customer to change their physical location. Sometimes, network issues might be location-specific, and moving to a different area could result in a better network connection. Each step should be performed sequentially, testing the connectivity after each action to check if the issue has been resolved. If the problem persists after these steps, recommend that the customer contact their service provider”s customer support for further assistance.
